If there’s ever an issue with your rug, our mission is simple: make it right.

Because each Area of Effect rug is made to order, we do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse, so please measure carefully before placing your order! That said, if your rug arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, we’ll work with you to resolve the issue quickly.

We currently offer a 60-day return policy. If your rug arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, within 60 days of receiving your order, please contact us at gm@areaofeffectrugs.com with the information below in order to start the return process. 

Return Instructions:

To expedite your request, we now require clear photographs of the rug and any issues before a return or refund can be processed. Here's what we’ll need:

📸 Photo Checklist:

  • A full image of the entire rug

  • Close-ups of any damage or defect

  • Product labels and original packaging (if available)

📌 Claims submitted without photo documentation cannot be processed.
